Join Our Team as an Area Sales Manager (Service)

Are you ready to take your sales career to the next level? As an Area Sales Manager in our dynamic Service team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our recurring revenue account base, also known as our service agreement customers. This is your chance to make a real impact!

What Will You Be Doing?
  • Prospecting, researching, and qualifying potential customers using Carrier’s equipment installed base, referrals, internal leads, directories, and competitor sites.
  • Delivering compelling sales presentations, conducting customer needs assessments, and securing new customer maintenance agreements.
  • Building strong customer rapport and employing effective questioning techniques to uncover needs, budgets, decision-making processes, timelines, and next steps.
  • Performing site surveys and facility walkthroughs to assess equipment and site conditions, enabling you to craft tailored proposals for maintenance agreements and promote Carrier's aftermarket services.
  • Utilizing sales tools like Salesforce to track and develop an active backlog of sales opportunities.
  • Collaborating with operations to ensure quality results on Maintenance Agreements and swiftly resolving customer issues.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Strong service sales background.
  • Familiarity with the Chiller, HVAC, or Heat-Pump marketplace is a plus, or the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to engage prospective customers, handle inquiries, and convert them into project wins and new revenue.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • IT literate with MS Office skills.
