This role is field-based, covering Sheffield and the surrounding areas, making it an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career!

As an Apprentice Service Technician, your primary goal will be to learn and understand the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, ultimately qualifying as a HVAC Service Technician. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Participate in regular block release to Leeds College of Building for a Level 3 Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Pumps qualification.
• Work on a variety of HVAC equipment, from smaller products to large commercial systems.
• Shadow qualified Technicians during customer site visits.
• Learn about refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting and support for technical breakdowns.
• Gain experience with fans, air handling equipment, pumps, and water hydraulics.
• Explore digital control systems and basic Building Management Systems (BMS).

• Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English, Maths, Science, and ICT or Engineering.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A keen learner who is inquisitive and eager to get involved.
• Good written English skills.
• An interest in M&E, Engineering, and the HVAC industry.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
• Confident and articulate communication skills.
