Are you ready to take your sales career to the next level? Carrier is excited to announce an opportunity for an Area Sales Manager (Service) focused on the vibrant Midlands region. This is your chance to drive growth and make a real impact by expanding our recurring revenue account base, also known as our service agreement customers.
What Will You Be Doing?As an Area Sales Manager, you will:
- Prospect, research, and qualify potential customers using Carrier’s extensive equipment installed base, referrals, internal leads, directories, and competitor insights.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations, conduct thorough customer needs assessments, and secure new maintenance agreements.
- Build strong customer relationships through effective questioning techniques to uncover their needs, budget, decision-making process, and timelines.
- Perform site surveys and facility walkthroughs to assess equipment and site conditions, enabling you to craft tailored proposals for maintenance agreements.
- Utilize sales tools like Salesforce to track and develop a robust backlog of sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure quality results on Maintenance Agreements and swiftly resolve customer issues.

Minimum Requirements:- Strong service sales background.
- Familiarity with the Chiller, HVAC, or Heat-Pump marketplace is a plus, or the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to engage prospective customers, handle inquiries, and convert them into project wins and new revenue.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Proficiency in IT, particularly with MS Office.
