• The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, be able to think critically, and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations.

In this role, you will be responsible for enforcing U.S. immigration laws at or near the border with Mexico. You may also perform other duties such as performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols and transportation checks.
This position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions (Public Law 100-238). Candidates must be referred for selection before reaching their 40th birthday unless they currently serve or have previously served in federal civilian law enforcement (non-military) positions under Title 5 U.S.C., sections 8336(c), or 8412(d).
