Finance Support Lead
This is an opportunity to join the Qualcomm Mobile business unit (BU) finance team. This position will focus on Finance support lead for our software, services, and tools businesses within the QCT mobile BU. Support includes: Analyzing BU performance, assessing key business metrics and analyzing drivers of financial performance Perform actual to budget forecast analysis Deep dive analysis into various elements of the financial statements Establishing pricing strategy and structure for new products Review customer contracts Collaborate with cross-departmental teams including sales, product management, and legal Build, improve, and maintain complex financial models Support ad hoc financial modeling and presentation for new software, services, and tools initiatives Support various ad hoc special projects Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience. Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master's = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field. 5+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience. 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above). 1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization. 1+ year in a leadership role with or without direct reports. Level of responsibility: Works independently with minimal supervision. Provides supervision/guidance to other team members. Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group. Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc. Develops and administers budgets, schedules, and performance standards for functional area within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department. Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions). Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively. Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $88,000.00 - $132,000.00. The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
