Description: Temporary Production Scheduler (February–August) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Status: Temporary role to cover FMLA leave (exact duration based on business needs and employee leave timelines) We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Production Scheduler to support our manufacturing operations during an FMLA leave period from February through August. The individual in this role will work closely with production, sales, purchasing, and shipping to build and maintain effective production schedules across multiple product lines. Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changes within the manufacturing environment are essential. Essential Duties uses judgment to anticipate demand for and communicate additional supplies needed Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of equipment and staff as needed to meet delivery dates Alerts appropriate staff of master schedule changes or delays Participates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, purchasing, production, and shipping Assists with capacity requirements during the annual operating plan Sets up and maintains work center and work groups in ERP system Reports on-time delivery Performs other related duties, as required Requirements: 1–2 years of related production scheduling or planning experience required. Experience with production planning or scheduling software preferred. Prior experience in the window or building-products manufacturing industry strongly preferred. Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning workflows. Core Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to interpret production and scheduling formulas. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
