Your duties will include loading and unloading shipments, stocking inventory, and staging materials for distribution. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are secured properly.
- Transport goods to and from designated warehouse areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all established safety guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting.
- Wear and properly utilize all required PPE , such as safety shoes, vests, and gloves.
- Understand and follow warehouse logistics procedures.
- Report any incidents or hazards immediately to supervisors.
- Be prepared for tasks involving manual handling and occasional Lifting of goods.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least one year of experience as a forklift operator.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Knowledge of forklift safety procedures and regulations.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including occasional Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to consistently wear the designated PPE .
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance record.
