Whether you're just beginning your nursing prerequisites or already enrolled in a nursing program, this initiative is designed to empower you from the classroom to the patient room. In Partnership With These Schools: St. Louis Community College St. Louis College of Health Careers Jefferson College Mineral Area College Southeast College of Nursing St. Charles Community College Southwestern Illinois College East Central College Southwest Baptist University Washington School of Practical Nursing (WSPN) Program Benefits & Highlights: This program offers up to $10,000/year in tuition support, covering 1 year of prerequisites and 2 years of the Nursing program. Funding includes tuition, books, registration/lab/technology fees, clinical scrubs, and more. It is designed to support a smooth transition into professional practice after graduation and provides direct career pathway opportunities within Mercy. Eligibility Criteria: Enrolled in nursing prerequisites, or actively enrolled in a nursing program at a participating school (RN & LPN) Must submit the following to be considered: 1 Letter of Recommendation Unofficial Transcript (if applicable) Send to: Megan.Schoeber@Mercy.Net Once materials are submitted, our recruitment team will reach out with next steps and interview information. Work & Commitment Requirements: Work a minimum of 16 hours per pay period (every 2 weeks) in a Patient Care Associate, Nurse Tech, or similar role (must be a hospital-based position) Must sign a contract agreeing to work 1-3 years at Mercy South after graduation (depending on years funded) Application Deadline : April 24th for Summer semester, July 24th for Fall semester Have Questions?
