This is a career opportunity to join the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) as an entry-level Border Patrol Agent. Job Responsibilities:
- Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
- Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
Qualifications:
For GL-5 grade level: one year of general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge, make sound decisions, maintain composure in stressful situations; learn regulations through classroom training/on-job instruction; gather concise information through questioning/observation/examination.

A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement based on class standing/grade-point average/honor society membership.or
One full year graduate-level education in a field related to law enforcement from an accredited college/university.
or
Combination of experience/education calculated using resume/transcripts submitted with application.
