National Security Specialist

The primary responsibilities include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws; inspecting documents and possessions for citizenship or violations; preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.

• You qualify for the GL-5 grade level if you possess one year of general work experience that demonstrates leadership skills, sound decision-making, composure under stress situations
