Customs Enforcement Specialist

This position requires a seasoned professional to work as a Border Patrol Officer within the Federal Security and Public Safety Sector at a GL-9 or GS-11 grade level.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, with emphasis on effectively gathering intelligence.
• Inspecting documents and possessions for citizenship status, ensuring thoroughness in each inspection process.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in surveillance techniques. Your ability to remain vigilant during night operations is crucial in preventing alien smuggling activities.

You must also possess basic knowledge of legal procedures related to immigration enforcement. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; however additional education can be advantageous but not necessary.”),
