Duties and Responsibilities
- Prevent undocumented noncitizens from entering or exiting the country by maintaining surveillance at border crossings and monitoring coastal waterways using government assets like vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles.
- Patrol international boundaries with fellow agents to apprehend smugglers of noncitizens while preventing them from violating immigration laws. Gather information through questioning suspects under your jurisdiction.
- Work closely with colleagues in routine patrol operations including traffic checks city patrols farm checks building inspections vessel vessel interdictions amongst others always staying alert during all hours worked ensuring safety compliance efficiency everywhere since we value integrity as well!
Qualifications:
- You must be eligible for selection prior reaching 40th birthday due age restriction imposed Title Department Homeland Security Directive enforced globally whereas possessing advanced training would not normally exempt position already held previously serving member civilian department staff affected specific U.S.C provisions covering civilian personnel appointments made contrary forces.
