*Position Overview*
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Program Manager to lead the delivery, oversight, and continuous improvement of Salesforce initiatives supporting a federal client in Washington, DC. This role is responsible for managing program-level activities across multiple Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with contract requirements, stakeholder expectations, and federal compliance standards.
The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who can manage cross-functional teams, oversee system enhancements, and drive successful delivery in a fast-paced federal environment.
*Key Responsibilities*
*Program & Contract Management*
* Provide overall program leadership for Salesforce initiatives supporting the federal contract.
* Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful program execution.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders and provide regular status reporting.
* Ensure all work aligns with contract requirements, federal standards, and organizational policies.
*Salesforce Delivery Oversight*
* Oversee multiple Salesforce projects, enhancements, and releases across the program lifecycle.
* Coordinate with Salesforce administrators, developers, architects, and business analysts to ensure timely delivery.
* Establish and maintain program roadmaps, priorities, and release plans.
* Ensure system solutions align with business needs and follow Salesforce best practices.
*Stakeholder Engagement*
* Build and maintain strong relationships with federal clients, end users, and internal leadership.
* Facilitate program reviews, governance meetings, and executive briefings.
* Translate business needs into actionable program priorities.
*Risk, Quality & Compliance*
* Identify and mitigate program risks and issues.
* Ensure adherence to federal security, privacy, and documentation requirements.
* Support audits, reporting, and performance metrics as required by the contract.
* Promote continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
*Team Leadership*
* Provide guidance and oversight to technical and functional team members.
* Support resource planning and staffing needs.
* Foster a collaborative, accountable, and client-focused team environment.
Required Qualifications
* *Bachelor’s degree* from an accredited institution.
* *Ability to pass a Federal Background Investigation*.
* Willingness and ability to work *on-site in Washington, DC at least three (3) days per week*.
* 7+ years of experience managing IT or Salesforce programs or projects.
* 3+ years of experience leading Salesforce implementations or operations.
* Experience working with federal government clients or within a federal contracting environment.
* Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or hybrid).
* Demonstrated experience managing multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Salesforce certification(s) such as PMP, Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or related credentials.
* Experience with federal compliance frameworks or security requirements.
* Experience managing large-scale system modernization or digital transformation efforts.
* PMP, PgMP, or Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master).
