About the Role We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mobile Maintenance Operative / Handyperson to join our growing team. This is a field-based role covering primarily Central London, with works extending across Greater London and occasionally beyond, depending on business requirements. The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and compliance tasks across residential and commercial properties. Key Responsibilities General maintenance and repair works including:
Carpentry Basic plumbing Painting & decorating General building and handyman tasks Delivery, set-up, and collection of drying out equipment as required Completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks including:
Fire alarm testing Emergency lighting flick tests Water temperature monitoring and flushing Ensuring all works are completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard Accurately recording works completed and reporting any additional issues identified on site Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment Requirements
Proven experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or multi-trade roles Knowledge and experience of PPM schedules and compliance testing (fire alarms, emergency lighting, water hygiene checks) Full UK driving license (mandatory) Own van preferred (business mileage reimbursed in line with government guidelines) Good communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Professional and presentable manner when attending client properties What We Offer
Stable MondayFriday working pattern (09:0017:00) - Planned weekend/Out of hours works may be required. 40-hour working week Mileage reimbursement in line with government rates Opportunity to grow within a developing and ambitious company Scope for role progression as the business expands
