Compensation Band:
$70,000 - $80,000 annually

OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a highly self-sufficient Graphic Designer to lead visual design across our family of Momofuku restaurants. This role sits on the restaurant marketing team and is responsible for everything from menus to brand identity. You should be excited to own projects from concept to production, be comfortable receiving feedback from non-design stakeholders, and be able to uphold high creative standards while managing practical timelines and vendor constraints.
This is a role for someone who thrives on independence and versatility. You’ll be the go-to creative partner for marketing, operations, and culinary teams across the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Restaurant Branding & Collateral
Design brand assets and supporting systems across restaurant concepts—logos, iconography, illustration, and layout Build and maintain style guides that ensure visual consistency across menus, signage, merchandise, and digital assets Own design for menus, placemats, comment cards, check presenters, and other on-table or customer-facing collateral Design compliant and on-brand signage across restaurant locations Source and design to-go packaging and uniforms in partnership with the Ops and Marketing teams. Includes preparing mechanicals, managing proofing, and coordinating with production vendors when needed Marketing & Campaign Support
Create graphics and supporting materials for seasonal promotions, social campaigns, email marketing, and events Collaborate with external partners and vendors on creative and/or asset development as the brand representative Review and approve third-party creative for partnerships and events to ensure brand consistency Own cross-functional feedback collection on design projects Asset Coordination & Internal Support
Enforce brand standards internally and externally to ensure Momofuku’s brand is well represented in all design materials Continuously improve design systems, including Adobe libraries and lead a quarterly audit of the brand style guide Bring projects to life with external vendors Pull images or create quick-turn visuals for cross-functional internal needs Manage production timelines for print and physical assets in collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders Ability to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines Design and edit pitch decks, event sales materials, and branded presentations Create print and digital assets for internal initiatives (HR, team events, merch), partnerships, and promotional campaigns Required Qualifications
3–5 years of graphic design experience, ideally with experience in restaurants, hospitality, or lifestyle brands Strong portfolio of work across print and digital Strong typographic knowledge Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and illustration experience Comfortable owning creative direction without day-to-day art direction or review Ability to project manage vendor relationships, including finding new vendors when necessary Ability to work with and translate non-designer feedback into effective creative Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in fast-paced or high-volume environments where brand and operational needs intersect Familiarity with packaging or environmental design (e.g. menus, signage, in-store displays) Experience sourcing production vendors, managing specs, and working within budgets and timelines Ability to evolve a brand’s visual identity while maintaining consistency across touchpoints A proven track record of dependability, a continuous focus on learning and development, and a history of consistently and successfully fulfilling all role responsibilities.
