We are hiring an Order Picker to join our logistics team in Colorado Springs, Colorado! In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment by selecting items from our extensive warehouse inventory. Your responsibilities will include reading pick lists, locating products, verifying quantities, and preparing them for shipment. We seek individuals who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess a strong commitment to workplace safety. This fast-paced position requires physical stamina and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Adherence to all company safety policies and the correct use of PPE is mandatory. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the logistics sector and contribute to our company's success. Familiarity with RF scanning equipment and a basic understanding of inventory management are advantageous. Regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs may be part of your daily tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Use handheld scanners or pick sheets to guide selection.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or staging area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock verification.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Report any damaged or missing items to a supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or logistics role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic math and counting skills.
