We are hiring a dedicated Reach Truck Operator for our modern facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position requires skilled operation of a reach truck to move and store inventory within narrow aisles, maximizing vertical space utilization. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe handling of products, contributing directly to the accuracy and speed of our warehouse logistics. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to put away and retrieve inventory.
- Navigate narrow aisles and high racking systems with precision.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on the reach truck and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Follow all company policies and procedures relevant to warehouse operations and logistics.
- Assist in loading and unloading trailers when needed.
- Handle products carefully to prevent damage, including tasks involving moderate Lifting.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.
- Certification or demonstrable proficiency in reach truck operation.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work at heights and navigate tight spaces.
- Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including occasional Lifting.
