In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and gathering items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This position is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, requiring speed, accuracy, and a strong attention to detail. We are committed to your Safety and provide thorough training on all procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols. This role involves significant walking and reaching, and the ability to perform moderate Lifting of products is essential. As an Order Picker, you will be an integral part of our warehouse operations, contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders according to specified lists.
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves efficiently.
- Use scanning devices to track picked items.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment, if required.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure the correct use of required PPE.
- Meet daily picking targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable performing tasks that require frequent walking and occasional Lifting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety protocols.
- Commitment to Safety and proper PPE usage.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Logistics.
