Join our dynamic logistics team as an Order Picker in Salt Lake City, Utah! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately pick and pack customer orders, ensuring timely and efficient fulfillment. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, demanding attention to detail and a strong work ethic. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating specific items using RF scanners or pick lists, and transporting them to the packing station. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also a key responsibility. We emphasize a culture of safety and efficiency, providing all necessary training and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Use RF scanning equipment to track inventory and update order status.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Ensure correct item counts and product identification.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Meet or exceed established picking productivity goals.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Comfortable with standing, walking, and occasional climbing for extended periods.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
