Mendon Village Animal Hospital is searching for a passionate and professional Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our family. We are a 2.5 DVM small animal practice and pride ourselves in providing high quality veterinary care for our patients. *Duties:*
* Provide compassionate care to patients and clients
* Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments
* Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging, including radiographs
* Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
* Conduct animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the animals and staff
* Provide care for animals in the clinic
* Maintain accurate digital medical records and documentation for each patient
* Perform dental cleanings, including full mouth radiographs
* Educate pet owners on proper animal husbandry, nutrition and preventive care
* Administer anesthesia, monitor surgical patients, and provide postoperative care
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
