T he We ll star Diagnostic Float Team 60;(W EST 60; T eam ) 60; supports a variety of imaging services across our facilities. 60; Region Four includes Columbia County Medical Center & MCG Health Medical Center . 60;

As a 60; Radiologic 60; Technologist for Region Four, you 60; will 60; apply your expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at each location you serve. 60; If you prefer a role that avoids routine, lets you use your full skill set, and provides straightforward pay, 60; this could be a strong fit . 60;

In return for stepping in 60; where you’re needed most , Float Pool members earn a higher base rate 60; and 60; may be eligible for a 60; float incentive. 60;

  • This full-time position offer s 60; a $20,000 sign-on bonus 60;

  • Multiple shift options available 60; to 60; se lf-schedule up to 8 weeks in advance 60;

  • Monthly schedule includes 2 Monday shifts, 2 Friday shifts, and 3 weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) 60;

  • This position is e ligible for 60; f ull-time benefits 60;

Required Qualifications : 60;

  • Education 60;

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 60;

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program 60;

  • Experience 60;

  • Minimum 60;2 60; years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting 60;

  • Certifications 60;

  • ARRT-R (Radiography) 60;

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association 60;

60;

Core 60; Responsibilities : 60;

  • Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and competently, adjusting technique to maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA). 60;

  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; identify and report equipment issues promptly. 60;

  • Obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications; verify orders and two unique patient identifiers before any exam. 60;

  • Explain procedures, prep, and post-care clearly using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety. 60;

  • Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care throughout the visit. 60;

  • Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol, using venipuncture and sterile technique when applicable. 60;

60;

  • Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated. 60;

  • Review images for diagnostic acceptability; repeat/correct as needed and release patients appropriately. 60;

  • Complete accurate, timely documentation and ensure studies are correctly finalized in RIS/PACS (including transfers/retrieval, CDs, and prior exam retrieval as needed). 60;

  • Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and help maintain/restock crash cart and life-support equipment as required. 60;

  • Organize daily workflow to meet expected timeframes; collaborate with technologists/modalities to support department flow. 60;

  • Support operations and compliance , 60; keep areas orderly 60; and stocked , transport patients safely, complete charging/clerical tasks, follow regulatory requirements, and escalate issues to the supervisor. 60;
