How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Perform radiologic imaging by accurately positioning patients, selecting proper technical factors, and ensuring high‑quality images are submitted to PACS.
  • Administer contrast media/medications within scope, monitor patients during procedures, and report any abnormal activity.
  • Follow strict radiation‑safety protocols, prevent unnecessary exposure, and ensure equipment is functioning properly—reporting or tagging out issues as needed.
  • Maintain clean, orderly procedure and storage areas while adhering to departmental protocols and imaging standards.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required: 
    • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Limited Radiology Technician credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Temporary ARRT license allowed in lieu of permanent license.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking
  • IEMA and BLS are required.
  • Mon-Fri. 10am-6:30pm.
