An FQHC in the Los Angeles suburbs is seeking a WomensHealth Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to provide comprehensive care toadolescent and adult female patients in a collaborative, mission-drivensetting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide well-woman exams, prenatal/postpartum care, and ambulatory gynecologic services
- Perform core OB/GYN procedures (IUD insertion/removal, biopsies, colposcopy, OB ultrasound)
- Manage acute and chronic womens health conditions
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
- Deliver patient education on wellness, disease prevention, and reproductive health
- Support team-based care, daily huddles, and coordination of patient flow
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California NP license & Board Certification
- DEA & BLS required
- Experience in adolescent/adult OB/GYN care
- FQHC or PCMH experience preferred
- Strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health records
