We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our growing warehouse facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for our valued customers. Your primary duties will involve accurately retrieving items from designated warehouse locations using order lists and scanning equipment, preparing them for shipment. This position is crucial to our logistics success and requires an individual who is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to operational efficiency. We foster a culture of safety, mandating the use of appropriate PPE and adherence to all established safety procedures. This role involves significant physical activity, including extensive walking and regular lifting .
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer order specifications.
- Utilize handheld scanners and other picking equipment to track inventory movements.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping preparation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE correctly at all times.
- Meet or exceed established picking productivity quotas.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Support the broader logistics team with various warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods. Must be capable of frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and logistics . Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE . Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
