Join our team in St. Louis, Missouri, as an Inventory Control Specialist and play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. We are looking for a meticulous and organized individual to manage stock levels, conduct regular audits, and resolve discrepancies. You will work with our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movements, ensure proper storage, and implement strategies to prevent loss. This position is key to our overall logistics efficiency. A strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations is essential. Safety is a cornerstone of our work environment, and you will be responsible for ensuring inventory-related tasks are performed safely, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain accurate inventory counts and records.
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Implement and refine inventory control procedures.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
- Collaborate with receiving and shipping teams to ensure smooth workflows.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a safety-conscious culture, including correct PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
- Knowledge of logistics and inventory best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
