IT Network Manager Location: Frome, Somerset Full-time | Permanent | £28,000–£34,000 per year We are recruiting an IT Network Manager to join an award-winning, market-leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Frome, Somerset, working within the Service Desk team. This is an office- and client site-based role. Remote working is at management discretion and dependent on client requirements. Candidates must be able to drive to Frome and regularly travel to client sites across the South West. The successful candidate will uphold best practices and technical standards through quarterly audits, on-site and remote technology improvements, and structured follow-up work. This position focuses on building and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring alignment with the organisation’s approved technology stack. Through on-site audits and remedial actions, the IT Network Manager works alongside senior technical leadership to improve security, resilience, and overall IT performance for clients. The role also includes onboarding new clients and promoting improved technology adoption, stronger security practices, and enhanced IT resilience through an ongoing audit and improvement programme. Key Responsibilities * Build strong relationships with clients both on-site and from the office * Conduct quarterly audits of client networks and infrastructure (on-site and remote) * Onboard new clients to internal technical standards * Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client networks, systems, applications, and infrastructure * Deliver high levels of customer service to users with varying levels of technical knowledge * Support Cyber Essentials assessments and recertifications Skills & Experience Required * Full UK Driving Licence (essential) * 3+ years’ IT experience, ideally within an MSP environment * Broad technical experience across desktop support, network infrastructure, and Microsoft 365 Preferred Technical Skills * Windows Server and Desktop environments * Microsoft 365 and Azure administration * Desktop and mobile OS troubleshooting (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) * Experience working with the Cyber Essentials framework Training and development will be provided for candidates who demonstrate strong customer focus and a willingness to learn. Qualifications (Desirable, Not Essential) * Microsoft Foundation or Associate level certification (Workstation, Infrastructure, or Cloud) * CompTIA A+ or similar Location Requirement: Candidates must reliably commute to Frome or plan to relocate prior to starting.
