Accounting Intern (Part-Time)

Role Mission
As an Accounting Intern, you will support the finance team in managing accounts payable by ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing. You will contribute to the reliability of financial data while participating in the continuous improvement of team processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Process administrative and project-related invoices accurately and within required deadlines

• Verify the accuracy of information and ensure high-quality accounting records

• Complete corporate credit card reconciliations within established timelines

• Follow up with subcontractors regarding payment requests and related communications

• Assist in preparing information required for financial statements

• Analyze accounts payable processes to identify optimization opportunities

• Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of technological tools

• Support various related administrative projects

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate accounting program

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365

• Interest in integrated accounting systems (ERP)

• Previous experience in a similar role (asset)

• Knowledge of an ERP system (asset)

• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with demonstrated initiative and attention to detail
