Class 2 Driver

At GXO , we’re expanding and seeking dedicated drivers to join our energetic team in Dartford, Kent , working on our IKEA contract . As a Class 2 Driver, you will be delivering furniture for IKEA alongside a Drivers Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items. Customer service will be at the heart of this role, creating a better everyday experience!

• Work as part of a 2-person delivery team, delivering furniture products into a room of choice at customers' homes.
• Provide a first-class customer service experience.
• Ensure the vehicle and stock are properly secured.
• Complete tachographs in line with legislation and company policies.
• Perform vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and report all defects.

This is a full-time, permanent role with:

• 48 hours per week
• Shift pattern of 5 days on, 3 days off over an 8-week rota
• Start times between 5:00-5:30 AM

• This is a physically demanding role that includes lifting and shifting furniture.
• Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement.
• No more than 6 current penalty points .
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC, or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years.
• Previous experience driving category C vehicles is desirable.
• A DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate.

• Annual salary of £47,000 .
