Job Summary:
The Senior Network Engineer/Architect leads the design, implementation, and ongoing support of the organization’s enterprise network infrastructure. This role is responsible for building secure, reliable, and scalable network solutions that support day-to-day operations and long-term technology initiatives. This individual works as a technical leader, ensuring network systems perform efficiently and securely while supporting critical services such as voice communications and video systems. The role bridges high-level network planning with hands-on engineering and operational support.
· Design, implement, and support secure and reliable WAN, LAN, and data center network environments
· Lead network architecture efforts to ensure scalability, performance, and long-term sustainability
· Configure and manage enterprise networking equipment, including firewalls and routing platforms
· Develop and maintain secure internet connectivity and routing strategies
· Support network segmentation and access controls to protect systems and data
· Implement and manage network security policies, VPN connectivity, and firewall configurations
· Design and maintain Quality of Service (QoS) to ensure stable voice and video performance
· Support network infrastructure for voice systems and video surveillance environments
· Conduct capacity planning and monitor network performance to anticipate future growth
· Provide advanced troubleshooting and serve as escalation point for complex network issues
· Perform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of service disruptions
· Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams on enterprise initiatives
· Maintain documentation of network designs, standards, and procedures

· Stay up to date on computer skills and best practices, such as word processing software, spreadsheet software, presentation software, Adobe software, email management, digital calendars, and video conferencing

Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
· 10+ years of progressive network engineering experience
· 3+ years in a senior or lead network architecture role
· Strong hands-on experience with Juniper Junos OS (MX, EX/QFX, SRX)
· Knowledge of BGP (path manipulation, filtering, peering)
· Extensive experience designing and operating MPLS networks (LDP, RSVP-TE, L2/L3 VPNs)
· Proven expertise with Palo Alto Networks firewalls including Panorama, App-ID, Content-ID, and WildFire
· Strong experience supporting high-volume, real-time traffic environments including QoS for VoIP and IP Video
Preferred:
· Experience in large-scale enterprise or service provider environments
· Certifications such as JNCIE, PCNSE, or equivalent
