OVERVIEW
I'm looking for a hands-on marketing data analyst to review an SMB eCommerce brand's website + paid + SEO performance, quantify the impact of recent organic content work, and identify the highest-impact opportunities across channels.
This is a consumer goods eCommerce business (premium home/lifestyle products). I've been supporting them on SEO and AI-driven SEO through consistent organic content creation, and now we need a clear performance readout and a broader digital marketing opportunity assessment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
1) Impact analysis (SEO/content):
- Assess performance trends pre/post content rollout (traffic, rankings, conversions, revenue where available)
- Identify what's working (top pages, themes, keywords, landing pages) and what isn't
- Separate brand vs non-brand where possible
- Provide a clear summary of attributable movement and leading indicators (even if conversion tracking is imperfect)
2) Cross-channel performance review (website + paid + SEO):
- GA4 analysis: acquisition, engagement, conversion paths, landing pages, device split, geo, key funnels
- Google Ads analysis: campaign structure, efficiency, spend allocation, search terms, brand vs non-brand, obvious waste, quick wins
- SEO analysis via SEMrush: keyword movement, content gaps, technical/on-page priorities, competitor benchmarks (lightweight but useful)
3) Opportunities & recommendations:
- A prioritised list of wins/gaps across channels (SEO, paid search, site UX/CRO, tracking)
- "What to do next" roadmap (quick wins in 1–2 weeks + larger plays over 4–8 weeks)
DELIVERABLES
- A concise report (Google Doc or Slides) with charts/screenshots and clear conclusions
- A prioritised action list (impact vs effort)
- A short live walkthrough (30–45 mins) at the end
TOOLS / ACCESS AVALIABLE
- GA4 access
- Google Ads access
- SEMrush access
(Access can be provided by 26 February.)
TIMELINE
- Start: as soon as access is granted (from 26 Feb)
- Final deliverables due: Thursday 2nd April
- Prefer a mid-point check-in once you've formed initial findings
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
- Strong experience with GA4, Google Ads, and SEO analytics (SEMrush)
- Comfortable working with imperfect tracking and still producing a clear, executive-friendly narrative
- Ability to identify practical, revenue-linked opportunities (not just vanity metrics)
Bonus: eCommerce experience (Shopify) knowledge
HOW TO APPLY

- Your estimated cost (fixed fee only)
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
