Project Overview:
I am preparing for an internal Business Systems Analyst position within a global medical technology company and I am looking for an experienced technical mentor who can provide intensive interview preparation and practical bootcamp-style training.
This is NOT a beginner coding request. I am looking for someone who understands real-world enterprise environments, business process analysis, and technical systems integration, someone who can help me think and communicate like a strong Business Systems Analyst during interviews.
Goal:
Help me confidently secure this position by strengthening both technical skills and interview execution.
What I Need Help With
Technical Skills (Hands-On Coaching):
• Power BI (data modeling, DAX basics, dashboards, business reporting)
• SQL (queries, joins, data validation, practical business use cases)
• Visual Studio 2022 environment
• C# fundamentals relevant to business systems
• Understanding integrations and workflow logic
• Data quality and process improvement mindset
Business Systems Analyst Skills:
• Translating business requirements into system solutions
• Process documentation and workflow mapping
• Cross-functional communication scenarios
• Data integrity and validation strategies
• Continuous improvement / business process optimization
Interview Preparation:
• Mock technical interviews (BSA-focused)
• Behavioral interview coaching (STAR method)
• How to explain technical projects clearly to business leaders
• Scenario-based questions common in enterprise environments
• Positioning existing experience to align with a BSA role
Ideal Candidate
• Senior Business Systems Analyst OR Technical Systems Analyst experience
• Strong Power BI and SQL background
• Experience using Visual Studio and C# in business environments
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated industries (healthcare, pharma, manufacturing is a plus)
• Ability to teach and explain concepts clearly
• Experience coaching candidates for technical interviews
Helpful (Bonus)
• Experience with process improvement or Lean methodology
• Familiarity with cross-functional enterprise teams
• Experience mentoring professionals transitioning into BSA roles
