With the support of Quality Control, supervise the site(s) sanitation program to include reviewing and auditing current effectiveness of the sanitation program, its core requirements and update to safety HACCP standards.

Job duties:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Help set up, review and update the overall program to meet regulatory standards
- Help evaluate the effectiveness of the sanitation agents
- Help set up and evaluate the sanitation schedule for the manufacturing facility and equipment.
- Ensure scheduled sanitation processes are conducted and documented
- Review and approve sanitation procedures
- Help develop, review and implement procedures to:
- Maintain the facility's grounds to control storing equipment, removing litter and waste, and cutting weeds or grass within the immediate vicinity of the physical plant so that it does not attract pests, harbor pests, or provide pests a place for breeding.
- Adequately operate systems for waste treatment and disposal so that they do not constitute a source of contamination in areas where components, dietary supplements, or contact surfaces are exposed; and
- Oversee that bordering grounds are maintained in a manner that do not negatively affect this site's operations.
- Inspect and implement systems to exclude pests, dirt, and filth or any other extraneous materials that may be a source of contamination
Requirements:
- A minimum of secondary school completion with not less than 2 years' experience as a senior operator within a food or health product processing facility
- Post-secondary education or certification in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Food Safety or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is an asset.
- Working knowledge with Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHMIS)
- General proficiency with MS- Office programs.
- Previous Quality and Sanitation experience is desired.

- Fulltime Monday to Friday (40 hrs per week) availability, in office
- Occasional overtime
- Travel between our Richmond Based locations is required.
