Responsibilities and Duties:
Supervise all personnel at the site level
Maintain the construction schedule while holding trades and suppliers accountable
Work with subcontractors and suppliers with planning and completion of the work, reading drawings and interpreting specifications
Coordinate delivery of materials to the site
Coordinate required inspections with required cities and departments
Ensure compliance with martini levels of quality while maintaining the design intent, safety standards, budget and schedule
Identify and address subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards
Quality control – proactively address deficiencies
Ensure trades rectify all deficiencies on a timely manner
Resolves complaints and grievances that may arise within the workforce at the jobsite
Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean, organized, and adhering to job safety standards
Work directly with our Project Managers and our office design staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
Post-secondary, technical education (BCIT) or in construction or a related industry
Minimum 3 years experience in a Construction Foreman or Construction Supervisor Role
Level 1 or 2 First Aid is an asset
Site safety officer (CSO) Certification is an asset
Valid BC Drivers License
Strong communication skills
Close attention to detail
Problem solving skills
