McCain Foods (Canada) is currently looking for a Temporary Packaging Monitor
Duties & Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Responsible for the accurate completion of all related documentation and HACCP system procedures for the Production areas
Must maintain all required documentation and check sheets (codes, seals, metal detector checks, etc.) for all Packaging lines
Responsible for following all safety requirements as discussed during orientation
Maintaining a neat work area, as well as a daily housekeeping report of the area
Responsible for identification and reporting of quality issues (such as bad back seal, incorrect codes, etc.)
All additional duties as they become assigned
Participate in Team meetings, as required
Filling out paperwork and entering data on computer accurately and efficiently
Communicate any changes, issues, etc. to other operators.
Must be able to work shifts on a rotating basis
Ensure SQCDPE targets are met by understanding and goal setting of KPI's
Must follow "Good Manufacturing Practices" (GMP's)
Qualifications
Grade 12 or GED would be considered an asset
Basic computer skills would be an asset
Ability to work well with plant supervision and production employees
Team player with excellent attendance
Successful completion of 90-day training period
Ability to accept and embrace change in the day-to-day operations
Compensation Package: - Starting at 23.25 CAD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
