Job Overview
We are hiring a Class 1 Truck Driver to haul pipe for a project near Anzac, Alberta. As a truck driver, you will play a crucial role in transportation, responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently across various routes. Your primary duties will involve operating a commercial vehicle and hauling pipe for the pipeline crew.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy trucks safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
Load, unload, and properly secure pipe and materials to prevent damage during transport
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues
Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle
Follow all SRG safety policies, procedures, and site requirements at all times
Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
Requirements
Valid Class 1 Driver's License with a clean driving record
Minimum 5 years of experience operating Class 1 trucks
Experience hauling pipe and related materials
Physically fit and able to perform the duties of the role
Ability to work safely, independently, and in a team environment
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis
