Role Description
This is a on-site role for a General Laborer located in Ottawa, ON. The General Laborer will perform a variety of duties such as assisting with construction tasks, operating tools and equipment, loading and unloading materials, maintaining worksite cleanliness, and supporting skilled tradespeople. The role also involves ensuring safety guidelines are followed at all times and contributing to the successful execution of projects.
Qualifications
Experience with operating tools and equipment, as well as performing basic construction tasks.
Ability to assist in excavation, demolition, and concrete work.
Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and adherence to safety protocols.
Physical stamina and ability to perform labor-intensive tasks in various weather conditions.
Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration on-site.
Valid driver's license and transportation to job sites preferred.
Previous experience in construction or general labor roles is an asset but not required.
