The study will support an informed strategic decision regarding architecture, operating model, cost structure, and associated risks for a future platform.
This is strictly an advisory and assessment mandate and does not constitute a commitment to acquire or implement any specific technology.
Key Project Objectives
Ensure that the study and proof of concept produce clear, objective, and measurable outcomes, including:
• Assess the current virtualization environment, architecture, tools, and operational maturity.
• Establish evaluation criteria aligned with business, technical, operational, and security requirements.
• Design and manage a structured proof of concept to validate shortlisted platforms.
• Compare options based on cost, performance, scalability, resilience, security, and operational complexity.
• Provide leadership with fact-based recommendations and a roadmap for the future solution.
Services
• Conduct exploratory analysis and current-state assessment of enterprise infrastructure, integrations, tools, activities, and skills.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to define functional and non-functional requirements and success criteria.
• Identify and evaluate enterprise platforms using a harmonized evaluation framework.
• Design and oversee a structured proof of concept validating performance, availability, security, data protection, observability, and operational readiness.
• Analyze POC results and provide comparative assessments and final recommendation.
• Develop a phased roadmap for future architecture implementation.
Deliverables
• Current state assessment report
• Requirements and evaluation criteria document
• Proof of concept plan (scope, architecture, success metrics, timeline)
• Periodic POC execution reports
• Platform evaluation and comparative analysis
• Final recommendation report
• Executive summary
• High-level roadmap and target architecture
All deliverables must be suitable for executive leadership and technical audiences.
Roles and Responsibilities

• Experience designing and overseeing proofs of concept
• Knowledge of observability and operational tools (monitoring, logging, alerting, automation)
• Proven ability to perform current-state assessments and maturity analyses
• Experience defining functional and non-functional requirements
• Strong ability to evaluate platforms and conduct comparative analysis including:
• Licensing and cost models
• Vendor roadmaps and ecosystem maturity
• Scalability, resilience, and operational complexity
