We do NOT need an SEO agency, marketing advice, monthly retainers, or basic SEO app installations. We are looking for code-level optimization and structural architecture fixes.
Phase 1: Deep Technical SEO Audit
We need a comprehensive technical crawl and audit of our Shopify store to identify bottlenecks holding back our organic performance. This includes, but is not limited to:
Indexability and crawl budget optimization
Faceted navigation & pagination issues (preventing crawl traps)
Core Web Vitals & site speed architecture
Duplicate content issues native to Shopify
Schema Markup (JSON-LD) validation for e-commerce
Phase 2: Hands-on Implementation (Liquid Edits)
Once the audit is complete, we expect you to fix the issues directly within our theme code (on a duplicate draft theme). We already know we have a few specific issues that need immediate fixing:
H1 Tag Hierarchy: Implementing conditional logic in so the logo is an h1 tag ONLY on the homepage, and a standard div tag on all other pages. Ensuring every collection and product page has exactly ONE clean h1 tag.
Canonical URLs: Fixing Shopify's native duplicate URL issue (ensuring collections don't generate duplicate product URLs).
Schema Markup: Ensuring our product prices, materials, and availability pass perfectly to Google Rich Snippets.
Requirements:
Proven experience conducting Technical SEO Audits for E-commerce (specifically Shopify).
You must be a Shopify Liquid expert capable of cleanly editing theme files without breaking the frontend.
No SEO agencies trying to sell link-building or content packages. We only need the technical foundation fixed.
