The Role
The Structural Engineer in Training will work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) to support structural engineering activities across a range of projects. The role involves contributing to the design and analysis of steel and concrete structures while progressing toward professional registration.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare technical deliverables, and develop practical experience across various phases of project execution.

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
• Prepare detailed engineering designs for steel and reinforced concrete structures
• Perform structural analysis using tools such as SAP2000, STAAD Pro, Excel, and MathCAD
• Prepare calculation reports to support analysis and design
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Follow discipline-specific procedures and quality standards
• Execute assigned technical objectives and deliverables
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across project and client interfaces
• Actively progress toward Professional Engineer registration with APEGA
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and professional growth
