ROLE OVERVIEW: 

We're hiring an Activation & Experience Specialist, you will support the delivery of a one-of-a-kind national, multi-city touring program across Canada. This is an in-office role that will work closely with touring team to ensure seamless planning, coordination, and execution across markets. You'll gain hands-on experience in production coordination, client management, community integration and planning, logistics oversight, and operational execution. You'll play a critical role in keeping timelines tight, assets organized, and teams aligned. This role is built for a strong communicator who thrives under pressure, solves problems in real time, and brings both precision and passion to everything they touch.  

RESPONSIBILTIES: 

Client Relations 

Support the execution of campaigns and touring activations with excellence, keeping client goals top of mind 

Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to align on deliverables, timelines, and evolving needs 

Develop a strong understanding of program logistics, site builds, and activation requirements to better support client conversations 

Gather insights pre- and post-program to help measure performance and inform future work 

Tour & Production Support 

Support cross-country touring programs through detailed logistical coordination 

Assist with load-in/load-out planning documentation and production timelines 

Help manage tour logistics including travel coordination, freight tracking, and vendor communications 

Maintain asset trackers and support asset production, maintenance, and repair workflows 

Ensure health & safety documentation, permitting paperwork, and compliance materials are organized and distributed 

Act as a central communication point between field teams and the Salt back-office team 

Team 

Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, fabricators, and partners to ensure smooth program delivery 

Support Brand Ambassador, Coordinator, and field teams through clear documentation and communication 

Help develop and maintain policies, procedures, and program playbooks to ensure consistency across markets 

Keep your manager informed with regular updates and proactively flag resourcing or operational risks 

Financials 

Build and manage small to medium-sized budgets and support components of larger national programs 

Track tour-related expenses including travel, freight, staffing, and production costs 

Reconcile expenses accurately and on time in coordination with the finance team 

Learn and apply Salt's pricing model to help manage program costs and provide rationale to clients 

Business Operations 

Identify process gaps within touring and activation workflows and recommend improvements 

Support internal documentation for truck packs, asset inventories, and production timelines 

Contribute to internal initiatives or special projects that strengthen client work or agency operations 

Provide day-to-day operational support to ensure touring programs run smoothly from planning through execution 

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: 

2–5 years of experience in marketing, experiential, or advertising, with hands-on execution of client-facing programs 

Exposure to live events, touring activations, or production environments is considered a strong asset 

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities 

Proven ability to manage budgets buckets, timelines, and deliverables with accuracy and accountability 

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, particularly in logistics and documentation 

Skilled at building relationships and collaborating across internal teams, vendors, and clients 

Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities 

Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting timelines 

REQUIREMENTS: 

Ability to travel extensively across Canada for the duration of the contract 

Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
