What you'll be doing

As a CIBC team member, the Analyst IT Quality Assurance is responsible for developing and executing test scenarios and scripts for functional system integration and acceptance testing for platforms in compliance with established controls and standards. Leveraging expertise in tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Robot Framework, JIRA, and Postman, the Analyst works across multiple technical areas to perform assignments and manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle.

To successfully perform the work, you'll be on-site full-time. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you'll succeed

  • Testing Expertise- Lead the investigation and translation of business requirements into test cases. Design and manage end to-end testing activities for various projects across the business. Use your expertise in software development testing to provide clients with quality products that meet business and system requirements.

  • Team Management- Proactively identify potential issues throughout all test phases, and suggest possible improvements or enhancements.

  • Project Coordination- Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a project's timeline or success and provide regular status updates to the business. Keep the lines of communication open with stakeholders, and escalate issues when necessary. Ensure that all test deliverables are received, approved, and aligned with your project's timeline, budget, and goals.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate 2-3 years experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Quality Assurance, with hands-on exposure to both manual and automation testing. ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent QA certification. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based testing practices.
