As a Field Technician – Wind & Solar based in Calgary, you'll support renewable energy projects across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and beyond. You'll work hands‑on with meteorological towers, remote sensing equipment, and field systems that help deliver critical data for the future of clean energy.

Your Impact
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot wind and solar meteorological towers and remote sensing systems.
- Carry out manual labour tasks including lifting, loading, equipment assembly, and safe operation of trucks and trailers.
- Document all field activities with digital notes, photos, and accurate reporting.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, trailers, and field equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Follow direction from field supervisors and collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Adhere to WSP's safety program and actively contribute to safe work planning.
- Support knowledge‑sharing through contribution to internal systems and continuous learning on the job.
- Travel regularly to remote locations for multi‑day field assignments in varying weather conditions.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- A flexible schedule and ability to work extended days and travel out of town for field rotations.
- Physically able to perform manual labour tasks and safely handle equipment (including 50+ lbs lifting).
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract; experience towing trailers over long distances is an asset.
- Comfortable working outdoors year‑round in demanding conditions.
- Motivated, detail‑oriented, accountable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong listening, comprehension, and documentation skills.
- Interest or experience with meteorological towers, remote sensing, data logging, telemetry systems, UAVs, photography, small engine repair, CAD, fabrication, or similar considered an asset.
- Willingness to train for and work at heights (climbing lattice towers/rope access) considered an asset.

Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $57,500 – $76,200 MB & ON: $52,500 – $72,300 NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $52,000 – $69,000 Disclosure:
