Your Tasks
Assist clients in preparing for cybersecurity‑related certifications through workshops, training sessions, and pre‑compliance activities.
Perform vulnerability scans, fuzz testing, penetration testing, code reviews, and reverse engineering for medical and IoT products.
Conduct penetration testing across applications, networks, systems, and infrastructure, including medical IoT devices.
Execute targeted testing activities to identify security weaknesses and exploitation paths.
Review threat models and perform security risk assessments of medical and IoT technologies.
Stay current on cybersecurity tools, techniques, countermeasures, and emerging threats.
Interpret and document vulnerabilities, identify weaknesses, and support escalation pathways.
Prepare clear and detailed technical reports for internal and client use.
Your Qualifications
Completed degree in IT security, informatics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field; equivalent training and experience may also be considered.
Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies, vulnerability assessment techniques, and common security frameworks (e.g., OWASP, OSSTMM, PTES, NIST).
Proficiency with Python, C/C++, C#, or similar programming languages for test automation and code review.
Experience using open‑source and commercial penetration testing tools.
Proficiency with Windows, Linux/Unix, and mobile operating systems.
Strong written communication and time‑management skills; ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Preferred:
Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or similar (not required but can be obtained during employment).
Experience with hardware penetration testing or medical device security testing.

Additional Information
The anticipated annual base pay range for this full-time position is $60, ,000 CAD. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target, subject to eligibility and other requirements. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to employees, including a 401(k) plan with employer match, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and 2 weeks for other parents, health plans (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance and disability, and generous paid time off.
