We are building a subscription-based SaaS platform to track carbon emissions for businesses. We are looking for a skilled frontend developer with 3-4 years of experience to join our team and help us build a responsive, user-friendly, and scalable frontend for the platform. You will be responsible for building dynamic web interfaces using React, , and TypeScript.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with React, , and TypeScript to build feature-rich, form-heavy user interfaces, with an emphasis on clean UX flows, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Frontend Development: Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using React and with TypeScript.
• UI/UX Design: Ability to implement Dashboard UI, focusing on user experience and form-heavy interfaces.
• Responsiveness: Ensure the layout works well on Mobile, Tablet, and Desktop screens, keeping the app UI components intact and readable across all breakpoints.
• Modular Architecture: Write clean, component-based code using Tailwind CSS. Content like text and images should be easy to find and edit later in the codebase.
• Security: Ensure basic security practices such as protective routes and avoiding exposure of sensitive data.
• Performance: Optimize frontend performance to handle increasing amounts of data and user interactions, ensuring smooth user experiences.
• Collaboration: Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with REST APIs.
Skills Required:
• Frontend: Strong experience with React and , building dynamic user interfaces.
• State Management: Experience with React Hooks for state management.
• UI/UX: Solid understanding of UX thinking and ability to implement clean and intuitive UI designs.
• Security: Familiarity with basic frontend security principles (e.g., protective routes, avoiding exposing sensitive data).
• TypeScript: Strong experience with TypeScript for type-safe code and to improve maintainability.
Bonus Skills:
• Testing: Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library for unit and integration testing.
• CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications.
• Design Systems: Experience implementing design systems and component libraries.
Deliverables:
• Fully functional frontend for the MVP, focusing on dashboard UI, form-heavy UI, and performance optimizations.
• Code documentation and UI guidelines for future reference.
• Clear error handling and performance optimizations in the user interface.
• Collaboration with backend developers to ensure seamless integration with the backend.
Engagement Details:
• Contract Type: Hourly contract (with potential for long-term work).
• Remote work with flexible working hours. However, there should be a 4-hour overlap with the team to ensure active collaboration and participation in meetings.
• Potential for long-term collaboration as the project scales and more features are added.
