We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to bring structure, clarity, and accountability to our development process.
This is not a junior role. We need someone who has managed engineering teams before and knows how to ship.
Why This Role Exists
-Our founding team includes strong technical talent and strong vision, but we need a neutral operator to:
-Turn ideas into structured execution plans
-Manage Jira and sprint cycles
-Reduce miscommunication between founders and developers
-Hold the team accountable to timelines
-Improve testing and QA processes
-Prevent simple issues from becoming large problems
-You will be the operational middle layer between vision and engineering.
Responsibilities
-Own and manage Jira (epics, tickets, sprint planning)
-Translate product ideas into clear, developer-ready tasks
-Run weekly sprint planning + standups
-Track deadlines and enforce delivery timelines
-Identify blockers early and resolve them
-Oversee QA + feature testing before release
-Create structured documentation (SOPs, feature specs)
-Improve team communication processes
-Ensure developers actually read and understand requirements
-Reduce founder involvement in day-to-day task management
What We're Looking For
-5+ years experience as a Technical Project Manager
-Experience managing SaaS startups (early-stage preferred)
-Strong understanding of product development lifecycle
-Familiar with Jira, Agile, Scrum
-Strong documentation skills
-Confident personality, able to push back and enforce clarity
-Highly organized and proactive
-Comfortable working with opinionated founders
-Strong written English
Bonus if you:
-Have startup experience (small founding team)

What Success Looks Like:
Within 30 days:
-Clean Jira structure
-Clear sprint cadence
-Reduced confusion in dev communication
-All features properly documented before build
-Fewer emotional back-and-forths
Within 90 days:
-Predictable release cycles
-Structured QA process
-Clear ownership across team
-Founder time freed up from task-level arguments
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 30 hours per week.
