Über
We're looking for a highly skilled Video Editor to join our team for a long-term collaboration.
This role is for someone who is exceptionally strong at video editing and also understands how to use AI tools and well-written prompts to improve speed, creativity, and output quality.
AI is part of our workflow, but editing skill comes first. You should be able to produce professional, high-quality videos independently and use AI as a support tool — not a replacement for expertise.
We value precision, storytelling ability, creative judgment, and consistency.
What You'll Be Doing
- Editing high-quality videos for marketing campaigns, digital products, social media, and paid ads
- Creating engaging short-form and long-form video content
- Applying strong storytelling, pacing, transitions, and visual flow
- Using AI tools for ideation, captions, effects, b-roll generation, enhancements, or variations
- Writing and refining clear prompts to generate or assist AI-supported video outputs
- Ensuring videos align with brand style, tone, and messaging
- Delivering consistent work on schedule
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio required)
- Strong skills in professional editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve)
- Deep understanding of storytelling, timing, rhythm, and visual impact
- Ability to produce high-quality edits independently
- Experience using AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency (captions, visual elements, automation, editing assistance, etc.)
- Ability to write effective prompts to support AI-assisted workflows
- High attention to detail and quality control
- Reliable, disciplined, and interested in long-term collaboration
Availability & Work Schedule
- Willing to work up to 6 days per week
- Able to consistently overlap with Pacific Time (PST) working hours for collaboration
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience with performance-driven or marketing videos
- Familiarity with short-form platforms (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Experience improving editing workflows using AI tools
