Lead and Grow the Team
Coach and develop supervisors and trades, building engagement, ownership, and bench strength. Create a feedback‑rich culture with clear accountability and room to learn from mistakes. Keep the Plant Running Safely and Reliably
Lead maintenance across all plant assets, driving reliability through strong PM/PdM and CMMS use. Reduce downtime through data‑driven root cause analysis and practical, lasting solutions. Partner Across the Business
Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to align priorities and schedules. Communicate clearly to keep teams focused on safety, quality, and what matters most. Champion Safety, Compliance, and Improvement
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and Manitoba workplace safety requirements. Build continuous improvement by involving the team in problem solving and learning. WHAT YOU'LL BRING
A people‑first leadership style built on clarity and trust — you set clear expectations, listen without judgement, and coach supervisors and trades through regular, meaningful feedback. Balanced accountability and empathy — you address performance issues early and respectfully, stay steady under pressure, and create ownership without blame. Strong maintenance leadership experience in food manufacturing or a regulated industrial environment, with hands‑on understanding of PM/PdM, asset reliability, and CMMS planning. Technical credibility across plant assets to set priorities, challenge assumptions, and guide sound decisions — without needing to be the top technician. Experience managing budgets, downtime, and improvement initiatives, using data and root‑cause thinking to drive safety, reliability, and performance. Bonus: Trade certification (Red Seal Millwright or Electrician) or experience leading capital projects and equipment upgrades. READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT?
