Who We Are

At KEV, we help school districts eliminate the school finance blind spot. Our platform gives district finance teams real-time visibility and traceability into every dollar collected at the school level; whether it's cash, check, or digital. From field trips to fundraisers, we help them manage every dollar with confidence. More than 27,000 schools across North America trust KEV to manage over $8 billion annually. By unifying payments, accounting, and reporting, KEV simplifies life for bookkeepers, builds trust with parents, and gives finance leaders the oversight their current systems cannot. It's how we help schools stay compliant, reduce risk, and focus on what matters most, student success.

Backed by Five Arrows, the PE arm of Rothschild & Co., KEV is investing more than ever to support K–12 in a world of tighter budgets, rising scrutiny, and fast-changing tech. We're headquartered in Toronto, with offices across North America.

If you're excited by the idea of building tech that protects schools, empowers finance teams, and improves education through better systems, KEV is the place for you.

About the Role

The Finance team is integral to KEV's success, driving strong financial governance, operational efficiency, and scalable financial processes through collaboration and expertise. We partner across the organization to deliver accurate reporting, strong controls, and optimized workflows, while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

We are looking for a Finance Operations Manager to strengthen and scale our financial processes as KEV continues to grow. In this role, you will own and optimize end‑to‑end financial workflows—including quote‑to‑cash and procure‑to‑pay—while partnering closely with RevOps, Renewals, Finance, and other cross‑functional teams. You will work hands‑on with modern finance systems, large data sets, and emerging technologies to elevate accuracy, automation, and operational excellence.

How You'll Contribute
  • Lead and optimize core financial processes including quote‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, and month‑end operational workflows — ensuring accuracy, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with RevOps, Renewals, Finance, Data Analytics, BI and other teams to streamline handoffs, improve data quality, and enhance process visibility — strengthening cross‑functional alignment and reducing operational friction.
  • Manage and improve financial systems including NetSuite, Ramp, Tabs, Numeric, with knowledge of Salesforce (Revenue Cloud preferred), and planning tools such as Adaptive Insights — enabling scalable, technology‑driven financial operations.
  • Ensure data integrity across systems and support development of scalable reporting and reconciliation frameworks — improving decision‑making and financial transparency.
  • Analyze large data sets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for automation or process improvement — driving efficiency and operational optimization.
  • Support implementation of new finance technologies and tools — ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to document processes, define requirements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives — advancing operational maturity and standardization.
  • Contribute to financial operations strategy — helping KEV scale efficiently while maintaining strong controls and operational rigor.
  • Support M&A integration efforts — ensuring smooth onboarding, system alignment, and process unification.

Who You Are
  • 7–10+ years of experience in finance operations, business operations, or related roles within a SaaS or technology organization
  • Experience with payments, subscription billing, or transaction‑driven financial workflows is an asset
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end processes such as quote‑to‑cash and procure‑to‑pay
  • Hands‑on experience with NetSuite, Ramp, Tabs, Salesforce (Revenue Cloud preferred), and planning tools like Adaptive Insights
  • Comfort working with large data sets and translating insights into operational improvements
  • M&A integration experience — contributing to smooth systems alignment, unified workflows, and scalable post‑acquisition operations
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and influence without authority
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and passion for process optimization
  • Excitement about working with modern finance technologies and contributing to a scalable systems ecosystem
