This position works in PRC - Support Services. This is analytical work at the senior level in support of the organization's Recreation Management Software and Financial System, including ACTIVENet. An incumbent coordinates a number of activities supporting the sustainment of applications; establishes performance metrics; identifies significant issues and oversees the development of solutions and/or workarounds; ensures vendors provide adequate services to support projects or systems; performs a number of activities supporting the identification of business requirements and the design of solutions; ensures hardware, software, network and data requirements are understood; reviews findings with technical staff; assists in documenting solutions and preparing alternatives; facilitates workshops, coordinates the documentation of current processes (Including ACTIVENet), the preparation of working papers, providing options of alternative solutions; performs a number of activities supporting the development or configuration of applications such as identifying all appropriate stakeholders regarding interfaces, ensures the delivery of required functionality; coordinates departmental testing of software; acts as a liaison between client departments, project teams and vendors; provides guidance to junior staff; establishes and maintains effective working relationships; assists in project management activities and the preparation of status reports; keeps abreast of recent developments in computer techniques and procedures. Performs related work as required.
Qualifications include completion of a university degree at the Bachelor's level in computer science or a related discipline and considerable experience in systems analysis at the senior level, or, an equivalent combination of training and experience. Considerable knowledge of problem definition and analysis applicable to business processes and systems planning; information technology components, process and developments including wide area networks, server and workstation operating systems, hardware platforms (Point of Sale) and configuration options; the functions of departments served, and their requirements as applied to information technology. Working knowledge of the operational methods of departments served. Ability to analyze and evaluate various data and information, develop logical solutions for assigned problems and assess the implications of proposed changes; apply project management principles and to assist in the leadership of project teams.
Schedule: 70 hours bi-weekly; Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Mutual agreement between Monday to Sunday, 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM)
This is a Temporary Full Time position until July 2, 2026.
