About the Role:

As a Salesforce Developer & Administrator, you'll play a key role within ATCO's IT Projects & Applications team, working at the heart of our Salesforce ecosystem. This role blends hands-on development with strategic administration, giving you the opportunity to design, build, and enhance Salesforce solutions that directly support diverse business teams across the organization. You'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and continuously optimize the platform for performance, reliability, and growth. What You Get to Do:

  • Support and optimize ATCO's Salesforce production environment, including participation in rotational on‑call support for critical incidents

  • Proactively improve system performance, stability, and overall user experience

  • Build and maintain platform security, data quality, and governance to ensure Salesforce remains reliable, secure, and trusted

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions

  • Design and deliver automation and custom functionality using Salesforce declarative tools and development technologies

  • Build and maintain insightful reports and dashboards that enable better decision‑making

  • Support disciplined DevOps and release management practices to ensure smooth, low‑risk deployments

  • Stay current on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to continuously enhance the platform

  • Collaborate with a high‑performing team of administrators, developers, and architects in an agile, responsive environment

What You Bring: 

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business or a related field

  • 3+ years of Salesforce back-end administration and configuration experience 

  • Experience with Salesforce Sales, Service, and/or Experience Cloud 

  • Support experience for Sales, Sales Operations, or Service Operations teams 

  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce declarative tools (Flows) and development languages (Apex, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) 

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and listening skills 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment 

  • High attention to detail in gathering and understanding business requirements 

  • Ability to leverage CRM tools to monitor performance, optimize processes, and improve user and customer experience 

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Available for stand-by and rotational on-call support 

  • Salesforce Administrator and/or Salesforce Platform Developer certification are assets

  • Experience with any of the following are considered assets: Salesforce Revenue (CPQ & Billing), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Jira, Confluence or Git (GitHub)
  • Experience with DevOps practices is an asset
  • Experience using data manipulation tools (i.e. DataLoader or DemandTools) is an asset
